Sept 24

Brunch on the Bay was another successful use of the pontoon boat and a wonderful member social event.








Neptune High School after school activities are now taking place, see Mrs. Jeanette Yannazzone to join the kayaking activities.

Special thanks to the Neptune High School NJROTC Cadets for their hard work on preparing the boats and boat yard for winter. We were very glad to give these young navy cadets a chance to get on the water.

The Canopies are down for winter, the tent will stay up.


The last few weekends of autumn sailings is underway for members. thanks to all who are volunteering to be safety boat drivers.


Oct 12 will be the final clean up and preparation day for winter.

We are thrilled and honored to announce that FOBH – SRSSA has been awarded West Marine’s Blue Future Grant. It is an honor to have been one of twenty seven organizations in the U.S. to receive this award. The Blue Future Grant, which is dedicated to waterlife recreation and education is very much in line with our mission.  See



We are also very appreciative to receive a generous grant from Ocean First Bank. Ocean First Bank is a longtime supporter of FOBH – SRSSA and of youth sailing and education along the Jersey Shore.

FOBH - SRSSA is extremely honored to have been supported with an award from the highly respected sailors at the John Callahan Regatta Foundation.
